Late News, 15/07, Walmsley: 4 Cattle Egret, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Cetti’s Warbler, 1 Greenshank, 1 Green Sandpiper, 1 Kingfisher, 60+ Swallows, 30+ Sand Martin, 40+ House Martin, 70+ Swift flying low over the water, 2 Otters playing in front of tower hide.

Lizard Point Seawatch: 1 Wilson’s Petrel and c10 Storm Petrel slowly west feeding on tide convergence line off the point. (T Blunden + J Foster) Also 1 Great Shearwater, 1 Pomarine Skua, 1 Mediterranean Gull and Yellow-legged Gulls plus 15 Common Dolphin. (T Blunden)

Scillonian Crossing: 6+ Storm Petrel from the crossing this morning.

Porthgwarra: 1 Pomarine Skua, 2 Arctic Skua, 12 Sooty Shearwater, 2 Great Shearwater. 1000+ Manx Shearwater, 2 Puffin, 2 Common Scoter, 15 Storm Petrel, 25 Kittiwake this morning. (S Rogers, B Mellow) Also 1 Lime Hawkmoth. (G May)

Port Quin Bay: 3 Puffin on water from “com head”. (S grose)
