Late news, 19/5, Edgcumbe: 2 Nightingale reported singing, SSE of Stithians Reservoir.

Hayle: Iberian Chiffchaff still singing at the back of the Millpond around the wooden bridge early morning and still present early afternoon. (S Rogers, B Hibbett)

Porth Beach: 2cy Ring-billed Gull on the beach below Glengorgal Hotel, 7 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 1 Herring Gull with a green ring on left leg, but couldn’t read info due to poor light. (S Grose)

St Newlyn East: 1 Cuckoo, 2 Yellowhammer on Penhallow Moor. (S Grose)

Sancreed: 1 f Common Redstart, 1 Cuckoo, 6 Swift, 2 Garden Warbler. (D Flumm)

Croft Pascoe: 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 5 Willow Warbler, 3 Chiffchaff, 1 Goldcrest singing continuously, 1 Cuckoo observed throughout morning calling and mobbed by various passerines, 2 others heard East and West, 1 Swift, 2 Stonechat, 2 Siskin, 1 Sparrowhawk. (J Evans)

Colliford Reservoir and Dozmary Pool: 15 Canada Goose, 2 Cormorant, 2 Great Crested Grebe, 1 Grey Heron, 2 Mallard, 1 Coot, 15 Black-headed Gull, 14 Herring Gull, 11 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 5 Great Black-backed Gull, 1 Buzzard, 23 Carrion Crow, 13 Jackdaw, 4 Magpie, 7 Stock Dove, 7 Swallow, 1 Pied Wagtail, 2 Cuckoo, 1 Robin, 1 Dunnock, 5 House Sparrow, 5 Blackbird, 3 Sedge Warbler, 2 Goldfinch, 8 Chaffinch, 8 Linnet, 5 Green-veined White and 3 Wall butterfly.  (DAConway)
