Porthgwarra:Red-Eyed Vireo seen by the toilet block  at 1.20 pm (Royston Wilkins, finder) Also seen at 16.45 and 17.25 in the trees by car park. (B Field) Also 1 Pied Flycatcher, 1 Spotted Flycatcher, 1 Whinchat, 2 Firecrest, 1 Yellow Wagtail, 2 Willow Warbler, 8 Wheatear, 2 Whitethroat. Crowdy Reservoir: 1 Spotted Sandpiper, 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 Yellow Wagtail, 2 Wheatear. (S Rowe)

The Lizard village: 1 Melodious Warbler below Henry’s Campsite mid-afternoon. Also 1 Corn Bunting, 4 Pied Flycatcher, 7 Spotted Flycatcher, 2 Yellow Wagtail around the village. (I Maclean)

Davidstow airfield: 2 Buff-breasted Sandpiper still, also c15 Dunlin, c15 Ringed Plover. (S Rowe) Plus 1 m DotterelDavidstow Airfield is an active airfield and we have been reminded that there is NO freedom to roam here and that cars must NOT drive onto the airfield at all. We have been advised that we can WALK onto the grassy areas, but not the runways. Cars should be parked alongside the road. Failure to comply, could lead to access being withdrawn altogether.

Kingsmill Lake: 1 Great White Egret (viewed and photo’d for 10 minutes before flying south at 18:10. Also 30 Greenshank, 3 Grey Plover and 2 Knot (M Beer,M Northey)

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 1 juv Rose-coloured Starling roosted with 10+starlings. 1 Great White Egret flew n/e at dusk to distant pines (P St Pierre)

Nanjizal: 1 Icterine Warbler netted. 

Hayle towans: 36 Sandwich Tern, 2 Kittiwake, 4 Mediterranean Gull on main channel out to sea. (S Grose, C Richards)

Hayle Estuary RSPB Reserve, Carnsew pool: 4 Sandwich Tern, 4 Ringed Plover. (S Grose) Also 2 Curlew Sandpiper, 3 Little Stint, 2 Ruff, 5 Knot, flock of 8 Grey Heron over SW ( D.Eva ) Ryan’s Field: 4 Ruff, 2 Little Stint, 3 Curlew Sandpiper, 5 Knot. (S & P Rogers). Colliford Reservoir: 1 Little Stint, 1 Wood Sandpiper, 1 ad Yellow Legged Gull, 340 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 1 Kingfisher, 7 Wheatear. (B Bosisto, P Roseveare) Also 2 Little Stint, 1 Ruff, 14 Dunlin, 6 Ringed Plover, 1 Snipe,  Golden Plover heard o/h, 5 Tufted Duck. (B Craven)
