Late news, 23/3, Walmsley Sanctuary: 1 ad Franklin’s Gull reported and said also to be seen on Monday (21st March) and thought to have been in area since January.

Sancreed: 1 Sandwich Tern flew low NW across fields 12 noon. (D Flumm)

Hayle Estuary RSPB Reserve, Ryan’s Field: 1 Cormorant and 1 imm Spoonbill.  (A James)

Restronguet: 1 Osprey chased by 2 Raven, also 1 Sandwich Tern. (M Day)

Marazion Marsh RSPB Reserve: 1 Sand Martin, 2 (pr) Gadwall, 1m Reed Bunting, 3m Teal, 2 (heard only) Cettis Warbler. (R Veal, J Boyd). Also 1 Yellow Browed Warbler reported c70m north of chalet.

Marazion beach + offshore: 1 Dunlin, 1 ad Shag. (R Veal, J Boyd)

Pentewan beach: 7 Sandwich Tern. (S Birt)

Gorran Haven: 1 Iceland Gull just off harbour wall. (A Whitelee)

Nare Head: 8+ Black-throated Diver, 7 Water Pipit in field on left just before the National Trust car park (A Whitelee)

Illogan: 1 m Lesser Redpoll still visiting private garden with goldfinches (J.Baker) 

Truro, St Clements: 3 Greenshank, 9 Shelduck, 6 Teal and 5 Little Egret. (S Rogers).

Maer Lake: 4 Black-tailed Godwit. (J & B Teague)

St. Ives: 4 Sandwich Tern. (S Rowe) Also 2 Purple Sandpiper, 80+ Shag and a pod of Bottle-nosed Dolphin.

Walmsley Sanctuary:: 1 f Garganey. (D Julian)

Crowdy Reservoir: 1 juv Iceland Gull over.

Stithians Reservoir: c20 Sand Martin, 2 Swallow and 1 Slavonian Grebe. (C Benton)
