Late news 3/1 Mount’s Bay: 1 Pacific Diver, 12 Great Northern  Diver, 1 Black-throated Diver and 1m Eider. (C Barnard)

Late news 3/1 St Gothian Sand LNR: 1 Bar-headed Goose with 200 Canada Goose. (S Turner)

Mount’s Bay: 1 Pacific Diver still plus 6 Great Northern Diver, c12 Common Scoter, 1 f Eider plus 2+ Purple Sandpiper off Jubilee Pool. (MJ Spicer, C Barnard & DK Parker) Also 1 Black-throated Diver reported.

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 6 Mute Swan, 12 Mallard, 64 Teal, 13 Snipe, 21 Moorhen, 1 Cormorant, 5 Grey Heron, 2 Little Egret, 4 Little Grebe, 2 Cetti’s Warbler and 2 Stonechat. (DK Parker)

Gillan Creek: 27 Mediterranean Gull (19 adult, 2 second winter, 6 first winter). (A Pay)

Men-aver Beach: 76 Mediterranean Gull (61 adults, 4 second winter, 11
first winter) and 1 Red-breasted Merganser. (A Pay)

Windmill Farm: 1 Water Rail, 1 Woodcock and 1 ad Med Gull in field next to lane leading to the reserve. (D Wright)

Wacker Quay: 1 Spoonbill, 2 Red-breasted Merganser, c 50 Avocet, 10 Great Crested Grebe, 3 Grey Heron, 2 Little Egret, c 100 Lapwing, 10 Redshank, 10 Curlew, 100+ Shelduck, 30 Teal, 1 Cormorant, 20 Oystercatcher, 100+ Dunlin, plus distant flocks of uncounted duck, mainly Wigeon. (DJ Spooner)

Hayle Estuary RSPB: 2-300 Golden Plover, 100+ Lapwing, 1 Bar tailed Godwit; 2 m,f Pintail, 3 f Goosander, 9 Med Gull and 1 Greenshank on Lelant Water. 1m Goosander, 5 Grey Plover, 100+ Dunlin and 1 Med Gull on Carnsew Basin. (D Jenkins) Also 1 ad Yellow-legged Gull.

St Gothian Sands LNR: 2 Snow Bunting and 6 Pochard plus 4 Dolphin sp off Gwithian Beach. (D Jenkins) In addition 1 juv Glaucous Gull and 1 Gadwall. (T McGowan)

Falmouth: 3 Slavonian Grebe, 1 Great Norther Diver, 2 Whimbrel and 2 Raven off Castle Beach. 1 Green Woodpecker and 1 Sparrowhawk at old cemetery Pennance. (J St Ledger – photo). 1 Long-tailed Duck on Swanpool still.

Davidstow Airfield: 149 Lapwing, 100 Fieldfare & Redwing. (B Craven)

Crowdy Reservoir: 1 Little Egret, 1000+ BH Gulls to roost, 6+ Great crested Grebe, Tawny Owl plus 800 Lapwing in fields north of reservoir. (B Craven)

Towan Head: 3 Purple Sandpiper, 1 Ringed Plover, 16 Turnstone, 8 Oystercatcher. (S Rowe)

Fistral: 1f American Wigeon sat on the sea with Wigeon late afternoon. (S Rowe)

Gannel Estuary: 1f American Wigeon from car park.

Dozmary Pool: 1m Lesser Scaup still. (R Treeby)

Siblyback Lake: 1 Great Northern Diver. (D Julian)

Wadebridge: Female Brambling with Chaffinches at Polmorla. (C Selway)

Feock: 53 Black-necked Grebe, 2 Slavonian Grebe, 10 Great Northern Diver and 2 Common Sandpiper.

Sennen Cove: 2 Balearic Shearwater.

Helston: 1 Yellow-browed Warbler still at Lower Nansloe Farm.

Newlyn: Siberian Chiffchaff at Sandy Cove.
