St Ives Island (08:00-13:00): 1 Grey Phalarope, 1 Petrel sp (prob Leach’s), 31+ Great Skua, 12 Manx Shearwater, 15+ Great Northern Diver, 8+ Red-throated Diver, 1 Black-throated Diver, auks passing at 280/minute for at least 2 hours – total estimate of 48,000 for the 5hrs, similar ratio to that at Pendeen.
