Treen cliff seawatch (14:00-16:30): 1 Sooty Shearwater, 1 Storm Petrel, 5 Common Scoter west. Hundreds of Manx Shearwaters feeding up to 3 miles offshore plus 6 Risso’s Dolphin (in pods of 2 and 4, the former thought to be the 2 seen at Porthgwarra 8th August), c100 Common Dolphin in 3-4 pods and a single pod of c20 Harbour Porpoise (D Flumm)

Porthgwarra: 4 Great Shearwater, 5 Balearic Shearwater and 20+ Sooty Shearwater.

Penzance Pelagic this eve: 15 Great Shearwater, 1 Cory’s Shearwater, 5 Balearic Shearwater, 25 Sooty Shearwater, 1000+ Manx Shearwater, 18 Storm Petrel, 3 Bonxie, 3 Arctic Tern, 1 Minke Whale, 30 Common Dolphin. (S Rogers, L Wilkins, M Elliott).
