Late news, 10/6, Bude, Widemouth Bay: 1 Puffin 2-3 miles offshore. (R Kirkwood)

Lizard Point, seawatch, 0730-0830: 1 2s Laughing Gull with kittiwakes going west about a mile off-shore this morning. Also 1 Carrion Crow, 1 Cormorant, 12 Fulmar, 1 Great Black-backed Gull, 58 Guillemot, 1 Jackdaw, 62 Kittiwake, 6 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 6 Oystercatcher, 6 Raven, 1 Rock Pipit, 1 Shag, 1 Feral Pigeon, 36 Gannet,  1 Great Northern Diver, 150 Herring Gull, 1 Kestrel, 384 Manx Shearwater, 7 Puffin, 38 Razorbill, 7 Sandwich Tern. Manx and Kittiwake number increasing later in morning. (T Blunden)

Goonhilly/Croft Pascoe: 10:45am-unconfirmed- Gyr Falcon (white phase). Almost completely white, large raptor flew from North East by radar dishes toward Croft Pascoe plantation, then low and fast. Dark tipped secondary feathers clearly visible. This bird was impressively fast. Heading Lizard direction. Also, Spotted Flycatcher, 4 Siskin, 2 Stonechat, 3 Willow Warbler, 5 Skylark, 2 Cuckoo. Pendeen, seawatch: 1 Storm Petrel, 1 ad pale phase Arctic Skua, 1 juv Puffin, and about 200 Manx Shearwater per minute. (L Proctor)

Porthgwarra, Seawatch, 0510-0940: 2 Sooty Shearwater, 8 Storm Petrel, 39 Puffin, 3 Great Skua, 2 Sandwich Tern, 1 Commic Tern, several hundred Manx Shearwater. (H Wright)

Newquay, Towan Head: Lots of Manx Shearwaters a.m. some stopping to fish, also few Gannets, Kittiwakes & Fulmars. (M Lammas)

Hayle Estuary RSPB, Ryan’s Field: 1 Barnacle Goose, 1 2s Mediterranean Gull, fly over towards estuary, 1 ad and 1 juv Oystercatcher, 2 Little Egret and 2 Grey Heron. (T Mills)

Looe, St Martin: 1 juvenile Great Spotted Woodpecker being fed by adult male from early morning and then trying to feed itself from seed feeder. (P Sharp)

Torpoint, Marine Drive:  Risso’s Dolphin around barges at 18.00 (Tor Elm)

Downderry:  a seawatch ending at 0715 included 116 Manx Shearwater, 5 Kittiwake, 2 Common Scoter and 2 Sandwich Tern. Later (0905-1010) 135 Manx Shearwater, 2 Great Northern Diver, 1 Kittiwake and 2 Mediterranean Gulll were noted. (A Payne)
