Marazion Marsh RSPB: 4 Mute Swan, 6 Greylag plus broods of 4 & 6 goslings, 5 Canada Geese (plus 2 goslings), 1 hybrid goose, 9 Mallard plus 2 broods of ducklings, 3 Gadwall (1m, 2f), 2 Shoveler (1m, 1f), 2 Cormorant, 2 Little Egret, 12 Grey Heron, 8 Moorhen, 6 Dunlin, c20 Swallow, c30 Swift, 2 fem & 1 m Wheatear, 2 Reed Bunting, 1 Whitethroat, 2 Blackcap, 3 Cetti’s Warbler, Reed Warblers and Sedge Warblers. Marazion: 9 Whimbrel, 3 Oystercatcher, 27 Sanderling, 15 Dunlin and 1 Ringed Plover on the beach plus 1 Sandwich Tern, 2 Shelduck and 1 sum plum Great Northern Diver offshore. (D Parker)
Trevedran: 5 Great Northern Diver, 1 Red-throated Diver, 63 Common Scoter (in a single flock) 1 Arctic Skua and 3 Whimbrel plus 30 Swallows in off the sea between 09:45 & 11:45. (M Bishop)
Hayle Estuary RSPB: 5 Whimbrel at Copperhouse Creek. (M Greenhalgh)
Clapper Marshes: Male Garganey at 13:05, chased off by a Shelduck but probably still in the area. (D Julian) 100+ Swallows in the evening. (P Floyd-Spong)
St Loy: Iberian Chiffchaff in private woodland but visible from the public footpath, not seen or heard this evening. Please keep to the public footpath. (M Bishop)
Mounts Bay: c15 Risso’s Dolphins heading from Newlyn – Mousehole and out to sea in the morning, later seen off Porthgwarra. (S Maycock & P Semmens)
Lower Tamar Lake: 2 Tufted Duck M/F, 4 Mallard + 1 duckling, 4 Moorhen, 1 Cormorant, 2 Mute Swan, 10 Swallow, 2 Grey Heron, 2 Coot, 1 Snipe, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 1 Robin, 4 Dunnock, 1 Blackcap, 1 Treecreeper and 1 Sedge Warbler, plus Orange Tipped butterflies at 10:30. (R Mudge)
Stithians Reservoir: Long-tailed Duck still at the southern end with Tufted Ducks, near the Stuart Hutchings hide, also 6 Great Crested Grebe, 2 Little Grebe, 2 Little Egret, 5 Tufted Duck, 4+ Sedge Warbler, 2 Buzzard and 80+ Hirundines. (J St Ledger)
