Late News 17/10 Treraven Meadow:  10 Goldfinch, 50 Golden Plover, 50 Teal, 10 Pied Wagtail, 6 Lapwing, 2 Curlew, 50 + Canada Geese and 10 Mute Swan. (The Martin Cutland Nature Walk per C Travis) Omitted in error last night.
Marazion Marsh RSPB: 1 Bittern, 6 Grey Heron, 3 Little Egret, 1 Cormorant, 4 Mute Swan plus 4 cygnets, 11 Mallard, 1 Aylesbury Duck, 7 Teal, 8 ad Moorhen, 1 Little Grebe, 2 Water Rail, 2 Snipe, 1 Sparrowhawk, 2 Stonechat, 6 Meadow Pipit, 8 Goldcrest, 1 Firecrest and 1 Cetti’s Warbler. Marazion: 2 ad, 1 2w & 1 1w Med Gulls on the beach. (D Parker)
Cot valley: Wood Warbler, Willow Warbler, 5 Chiffchaff, 2+ Firecrest, 17 Goldcrest, flocks of 7 & 9 Long-tailed Tit, Grey Wagtail, Green Woodpecker and 2 Sparrowhawk. (D Parker) Also Yellow-browed Warbler again.
Kenidjack: Red-breasted Flycatcher near the engine shed. (Oriole Birding) Also 2 Goldcrest, 1 Chiffchaff, 1 Grey Wagtail, 1 Bullfinch and 2 Kestrel. (D Parker) Serin flew up the valley at 16:46 and Yellow-browed Warbler by the engine shed at 17:05.
Kingsmill Lake: 3 Avocet plus  1 Firecrest still at China Fleet club along nature trail between the hides. (M Beer)
College Reservoir: Juv Purple Heron still at 11:00 when it flew behind the island. Showing very well again at 12:50 viewed from dam end looking back to righthand bank in reeds. Also 1+ Firecrest,  2 Goldcrests, Grey Heron and 6 Great Cormorants. (W Chegwidden and T Mills)

Penryn River: 10 Greenshank, 43 Redshank, 2 Bar-tailed Godwit, 39 Curlew, 5 Oystercatcher, 5 Little Grebe, 44 Mallard, 1 Grey Heron, 5 Little Egret, 1 Grey Wagtail, 2 Blackcap, 2 Bullfinch, 2 Skylark, 9 Pied Wagtail, 2 Jay, 1+ Sparrowhawk, 1 Buzzard and 1 Kestrel. Maer Lake, Bude: Pectoral Sandpiper at 10:30. Also 200+ Canada Geese, 150+ Golden Plover, 20 Black-tailed Godwit, 15 Bar-tailed Godwit, 10 Lapwing, 10 Curlew, 30 Teal, 1 Heron and 3 Snipe. (R Mudge)
Lower Tamar Lake: 2 Tufted Duck. (R Mudge)
Swanpool: 5 Great Cormorant, also at least 5 Little Grebe, several Tufted Duck, Grey Heron and 50+ BH Gull. (T Mills) Yellow-browed Warbler calling at Swanvale NR again. (I Maclean)

Treraven Meadow: 1 Black Swan and 20 Mute Swan, 1 Greylag, 60 Canada Geese, 2 Green Sandpiper, 2 Lapwing, 50+ Teal and 1 Swallow. (C Selway)
Pendennis, Falmouth: 1 Balearic Shearwater and 1 distant probable Long-tailed Skua west, 2 auk sp and 3 distant Med Gulls between 07:30 & 08:30. Also 10 Meadow Pipits and 1 Whimbrel on the point plus 3 Siskins over and 2 Firecrest near the coastguard end. (D Chaney)
Falmouth: 1 Firecrest with 2 Goldcrest in Trescobeas Park on the north side of Falmouth. (D Chaney)
Hayle Estuary RSPB: 2 Sandwich Terns at Ryan`s Field. (Sennen Cove Birdwatching)
Brew: 3 1w Glossy Ibis in the marshy field south of Brew Pool, visible from the track beyond the sewerage works at cSW 365251.
Carn Euny: 1w Glossy Ibis in flooded field 1 mile SW of Sancreed, west of Carn Euny car park.
Land’s End: Wryneck still on the cycle path 300m north of the boarded up white house by the hay bales. Richard’s Pipit on footpath from Treeve Moor to Sennen Cove.
Lizard: Red-backed Shrike showing well on hedges around the Waterings at Housel Bay.
