Late news, 21/8, Croft Pascoe: 2 Spotted Flycatcher (2 adult feeding 1 juv), 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 8 Stonechat, 2 Willow Warbler, numbers of Coal Tit, and Goldcrest. Also 30+ Lizard basking on the boardwalk. (J St Ledger)

Late news, 21/08 Freathy: c2000 mostly Herring Gull feeding in the bay . Also a raft of c60 Manx Shearwater and 6 Dolphin sp.  48 House Sparrow in scrubby valley. (M Jordan)

Freathy: 3 Arctic Skua chasing a Kittiwake close inshore at 0730. (M Jordan)

Nanjizal: American Golden Plover in the Lower/Higher Bosistow area, seen dropping into field on north side of Lower Bosistow Farm at 18:55, but flew towards Trevescan at 19:50. Please keep to public rights of way. (M Wallace)

Lizard Area: 1 Pied Flycatcher, (with a further 2 reported) also 1 Wheatear. (M Pass)

Porthgwarra 6:30 -10:00: 4 Balearic Shearwater, 10 Sooty Shearwater, 4 Euro Storm Petrel, 2 Great Skua. 1 Redstart in Coastguard Cottages garden. Downderry: Birds moving west this morning (06:30-07:45) included 7 Balearic Shearwaters, 2 Cory’s Shearwaters, 2 Common Scoters, 7 Mediterranean Gulls and 18 Kittiwakes. Early evening (18:10-19:30) 3 Balearic Shearwaters, 1 Common Scoter, 3 Mediterranean Gulls and 40 Kittiwakes. (A Payne)

Park Head: Male “flava” Yellow Wagtail, Pied Flycatcher, 2 Sedge Warbler, 3 Whitethroat, 6 Chiffchaff, 8 Willow Warbler and 2 Wheatear this evening. (P Roseveare)
