Porthgwarra to St Levan: Spotted Crake on track at edge of middle wood then moved into fields; also Siberian Chiffchaff, 4 Yellow-browed Warbler, Lesser Whitethroat (poss eastern type), 9 Black Redstart, Firecrest and a Woodcock. (M Wallace) Also 2 Ring Ouzel (B Toms) 6 Firecrests, 5 Goldcrests, Blackcap, 3 ChiffChaff, 5 Snow Buntings beside stone wall before scared off towards Coastguard Lookout by 2 Peregrines, 1 male Kestrel, 1m Great Spotted Woodpecker, many Song Thrush & Blackbirds in the valley. 20+ Golden Plover flying over the moor, 5 Chough & 28 ‘potential’ Rock Doves in flock perched on rocks below Coastguard Lookout.
