Late news, 6/8, Falmouth, Gorrangorras: 2 Turnstone, 30+ Curlew, 1 Whimbrel and 20+ Redshank. (D Chaney)
Stithians Reservoir, Southern end: 1 Wood Sandpiper, 1 Snipe, 14 Heron, 10 Curlew flew over  plus Cormorant, Mallard, Little Grebe, Coot, Moorhen, Tufted Duck, Herring Gull,1 Little Egret, 2 Buzzard over,1 Sedge Warbler. Northern end: 1 Great Crested Grebe and 1 Red Deer. (D Jenkins, D Chaney & D Eva)
Hayle Estuary RSPB, Carnsew Basin: 5 Little Egret, 30 Ringed Plover and 58 Dunlin. Ryan’s Field: 2 Little Egret, 4 Common Sandpiper, 3 Kingfisher, 3 Mediterranean Gull and 1 Clouded Yellow butterfly. Lelant Water: 10 Little Egret, 7 Grey Heron, 10 Mallard, 2 Common Sandpiper, 1 Greenshank, 7 Redshank, 1 Whimbrel, 80 Curlew, 10 Oystercatcher and 3 Mediterranean Gull. Marazion Marsh RSPB:  Margaret Rawlins ringed 24 birds today: 14 Sedge Warblers, 6 Reed Warblers, 1 Reed Bunting, 1 Chiffchaff, 1 Swallow, 1 Bullfinch. Pendeen: 3 Wheatear, a family of 6 Swallow & a family of 6 Pied Wagtail by the coastguard cottages. A heard-only Green Sandpiper flew past the lighthouse at dusk. Also Clouded Yellow by the cottages and a probable Common Hawker by the small pond near the Boscaswell stores. (A Hartley)
