Falmouth, Castle Beach: 500+ Black-headed Gulls again at 08:00 with 3 Mediterranean Gull and 1 Redshank and 2 Turnstone on the rocks. 4 Black Redstart, 2 Whimbrel mid-afternoon. Swanpool Beach: 2 Slavonian Grebe, 1 Great Northern Diver, 40 Shag offshore, Kingfisher on the rocks, and 3 Ringed Plover, 1 Curlew, 2 Turnstone on Swanpool Point. Swanpool: 1f Blackcap, 1 Yellow-browed Warbler at southern end, 6 Firecrest (3 at S end, 3 N end just inside Swanvale as viewed from the road, 7 Goldcrest, 2 Chiffchaff, 1 Coal Tit. (D Chaney)
