Marazion Marsh RSPB: 1 Bittern, 1 Little Egret, 15 Grey Heron, 1 Cormorant, 6 Mute Swan, 1 hybrid goose, 2 Greylag, 15 Teal, 4 Mallard, 1 Coot, 21 Moorhen, 1 Little Grebe, 1 Snipe, 1 Stonechat, 1 Reed Bunting, 2 Chiffchaff and 4 Cetti’s Warbler. Also 32 Dunlin and 15 Turnstone on the beach. (D Parker)
Kenidjack: Ad Night Heron in the stream between the wooden bridge and the pond, but extremely elusive. Best viewed distantly from the path above the workings. Kingsmill Lake:Lesser Yellowlegs again, view from China Fleet Club nature trail, far hide SX427608. Best looked for on the dropping tide, but always distant.
Longrock: 1 Slav Grebe offshore.
Hayle Estuary RSPB: Spotted redshank on Ryan’s Field and 2 ad Med Gulls off the causeway.
College Reservoir: Firecrest near the entrance at the southern end.
