St Ives: Big movement of seabirds west past The Island this morning. In 1 hour (9:30-10:30), 3,000 Gannet, 8,400 Kittiwake, 5,400 Guillemot, 600 Razorbill (based on 1-minute timed counts). In addition, 700 Kittiwake in rafts on sea. Also 3 Purple Sandpiper on rocks. (P Taylor, H Mitchell)
