Late news, 20/11, Penzance: 22 Purple Sandpipers at Jubilee Pool. (S Turner)

Towan Head, Newquay: 1 Purple Sandpiper still with Turnstones, 1 Grey Plover still South of headland, 20 + Common Dolphins fishing off point at 08:30. (M Lammas)

Trevilley Farm: Dusky Warbler calling and showing regularly, though briefly, also 1 Chiffchaff, 2 Firecrest, 3 Goldcrest and 1 Brambling (M Pass et al.) Also Yellow-browed Warbler.

Hayle Estuary RSPB: American Golden Plover with the Golden Plover flock on Lelant Saltings off the causeway. (PJ Freestone)

Drift Reservoir: Recently dead Barn Owl in copse next to path  approx  70m from gate and footpath top of reservoir, no obvious damage and no rings. (P Copner)

St Ginnys: Male Brambling feeding with Chaffinch in a private garden. (N Bastin – photos)

Par Pool: 1 Kingfisher. Also Herring Gull sp, on its own and had a very dark mantle and heavily streaked head, nape and chest. Much darker than other Herring Gulls but not as dark as LBB or GBB. Seen at 11:45 and flew out to sea at 12:00 but seen over pool at 12:30. (E Mayhew)

Ruan Lanihorne: 2 Spoonbills this afternoon. (C Hughes – photo)

Coverack: 1 Iceland Gull seen well on rocks below sea wall. (P Bedford)

Stithians Reservoir Southern Cut-off: 1 female Great Spotted Woodpecker,  6 Bullfinch,  2 Greenfinch,  4  Goldcrest, 1 Grey Heron,  40+ Lapwing,  1 Buzzard,  2 Little Grebe,  6 Goldfinch,  1 Wren, and  1 Male Sparrowhawk perched on the feeder frame.  (A James – photos)

Porthpean: 2 Surf Scoter and 2 Long-tailed Duck still present.

Falmouth: Flock of about 20 Redwing off Woodlane again. Also 3 Redwing and 2 Blackcap (1 male & 1 female) in the garden. (E Tackley)

Godolphin House: 3 Hawfinch feeding on Sycamore buds, viewable from the public footpath at cSW 602317. (DK Parker – photos)

Crugmeer: 1 Short-eared Owl, 1 Lapland Bunting. (D Julian)

Rosenannon Downs: 3 Short-eared Owl, 3 Tawny Owl, 12 Snipe, 3 Egrets. (S Grose)
