Late news, 24/4 Whitecross, Newquay: 10 Wheatear all in summer plumage, 1 Yellowhammer calling, 1 Blackcap calling, 1 Whitethroat calling, 2 Pied Wagtail, 35 Sparrow, 4 Swallow, 40 Wood Pigeon, 50 Carrion Crow, 2 Raven, 6 Goldfinch, 2 Blue Tit, 5 Magpie, 2 pr Blackbird with food, 1 pr Robin with food, 1 Sparrowhawk being mobbed by swallows and sparrows. 2 Holly Blue, 2 Small White, 3 Speckled Wood and 3 Orange Tip butterflies.

Mawgan:  1 adult Song Thrush feeding 2 fledglings (P Bedford)

Maer Lake: 1 Cattle Egret.
