Towan Head Newquay:  Lots of Manx shearwaters feeding in the bay 08:00  till 08: 30.  (M Lammas)

Newquay: 6 Med Gull at Fistral. (S Rowe)

Lower Moor Plantation, Rough Tor:  2 Lesser Redpoll, 4 Spotted Flycatcher, 20+ Siskin, 1 Mistle Thrush carrying food. Also numbers of Coal Tit, Goldcrest, Chiffchaff and Willow Warbler. (J St Ledger)

Marine drive,Torpoint: 5 Mediterranean gulls,one with green ring on left leg (not able to read details). (S Eddy)

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 2 Grey Heron, 1 Little Egret, 5 Mallard, 9 Linnet, 1 juv Stonechat, 5 Dunnock, 3 Wren, 1 Sedge Warbler 11.10 – 12.10. (M Webb) Also large numbers (30+) of Painted Ladys. (DK Parker)

Culdrose: 2 Spotted Flycatchers (returned to nest site from last year). (D Wright)

Downderry: Before 07:20 1 Great Northern Diver moving east, but staying within the bay, 5 Common Scoters and at least 21 Swifts also east, whilst 16 Manx Shearwaters flew west. Two Mediterranean Gulls and 25 Manx Shearwaters west 18:50-19:20. (A Payne)

Sancreed: 2 Cuckoo, 5 Painted Lady and 2 Meadow Brown the only butterflies seen (no Whites!) in what has been the worst year I’ve known for butterflies here but good to see some migrant Painted Ladies after the influx of thousands along the coast from Dorset eastwards yesterday. (D Flumm)

Padstow: 2 Nightjar below Retreats Holiday Park, 1 Barn Owl with prey over field West of Trevisker garden centre. (S Grose)
