Late news, 4/12, Coverack: 1 Iceland Gull seen on harbour wall.  It was around in the bay all day. (P Bedford)

Late news, 4/12, Par Beach Pond: Black Swan (C Jewels)

Hayle: American Golden Plover, Golden Plover, Grey Plover, Goosander(m), Spoonbill, Med Gull, Firecrest along road into Ryan’s field. (J Cole)

Porthgwarra:  4 Chough near Coastguard lookout. 1 Black Redstart on Old Coastguard Cottages. (P Warren)

Penzance, Jubilee Pool and Harbour:  Purple Sandpiper, Turnstone, single Ringed Plover, 15+ Common Scoter, 1 Great Northern Diver in harbour mouth, 1, possibly 2 Black-throated Diver at distance. (P Warren)

Dozmary Pool: Ring-necked Duck and Lesser Scaup still.  Also 77 fieldfare and 18 Redwing. (P Jones)

Falmouth: 2 Black Redstart and a Whimbrel on Castle Beach this morning and 6 Great Northern Diver and 1 Black-throated Diver offshore. (T Phelps) Castle Beach: 2 Black Redstart, 2 Stonechat, c8 Rock Pipit, 2 Meadow Pipit, 1 Curlew, 3 Oystercatcher, 100+ Black-headed Gulls feeding. Pendennis Point: 2 Stonechat, 6 Oystercatcher, 1 Ringed Plover. Swanpool: 2 Slavonian Grebe offshore and a 2w Yellow-legged Gull on the rocks. (T Phelps) 

Gerran’s Bay: 20 Great Northern Diver, 2 Slavonian Grebe, 1 Red-necked Grebe, 3 Common Scoter, 1 Long-tailed Duck, 2 Purple Sandpiper at Nare Head, 5 Mediterranean Gulls at Towan Beach, also Harbour Porpoise and Common Seal (in small grey seal colony) all from kayak trip from Carne Beach. Carnon Valley: 9 Siskin with flock of Goldfinch, 6 Bullfinch, 1 Green Woodpecker, 1 Nuthatch, 1 Reed Bunting (calling) on cycle trail. (J St Ledger)

Towan Head: 25+ Turnstone, 1 Purple Sandpiper,  6 Oystercatcher, 1 Grey Plover, 3 Common Scoter, 60+ Gannet fishing in bay, also 8 Porpoise in 2 groups. (M Lammas)

Mawgan: 1 Firecrest, 1 Siskin and 1 Bullfinch in garden. (P Bedford)

Bodmin: 1 leucistic(?) Common Buzzard (completely white with a scattering of black feathers) near the exit sliproad to the A30. (N McAuley)
