Porthpean: 1 female Velvet Scoter, 5 Common Scoter (3f, 2m) and 1 female Long-tailed Duck. (T Mills) Later 2 Surf Scoter and 2 Great Northern Diver.

Goldolphin Cross: Firecrest at 11.00. (C Richards)

Towan Head, Newquay: 2 Grey Plover on rocks 6 Commcn Scoter close off point Great Northern Diver passed plus up to 7 Porpoise.  Ring billed Gull still on boating lake. (M Lammas, S Rogers – photos)

Dozmary Pool: Lesser Scaup, pair Goldeneye, 2 pairs Shoveler. (B Craven)

Newtown St Martin: 15 Cattle Egret, 8 Little Egret, 1 Water Rail. In same field daily (by Tretharrup turn) for at least 2 weeks with no. of Cattle Egrets increasing. (M Nattrass)

Camel Trail, Guineaport/ Pendavey: 3 Goosander, 2 little Grebe, 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Sparrowhawk, 2 Chiffchaff, 2 Dipper 1 Bar-headed Goose,2 Great Spotted Woodpecker. (S Grose)

Drift Reservoir: Iceland Gull, Common Sandpiper and Black-necked Grebe. (R Treeby) 3 Black-necked Grebe reported in the afternoon.
