Late News 12/02 Hayle: A Long-eared Owl was picked up  in Hayle town centre andaken to the R.S.P.C.A. centre and examined by St. Coloumb vets. The verdict was a bruised wing with no apparent brake. The owl will be sent to the R.S.P.C.A.  wildlife centre at Taunton for convalescence and (hopefully) eventual release. (R Harper. M.B.E.)

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 6 Mute Swan (including 4 juv), 2 Canada Geese, 2 hybrid geese, 4 Mallard, 25 Teal, 2 Little Grebe, 3 Cormorant, 1 Bittern, 1 Little Egret, 5 Grey Heron, 1 Water Rail, 12 Moorhen, 1 Coot, 6 Snipe, 1 Oystercatcher and 1 Cetti’s Warbler. (D Parker)
