Late news, 7/5 St Mabyn: 1 Red Kite above junction from St Mabyn onto B3266 main road. Also 1 Wheatear seen in lane near to Hustyns Hotel entrance. (T Nightingale)

Late news, 15/5, Lanivet: 4 Red Kite. (P McKeogh)

Carbis Bay: Probable Black Kite over the road between Carbis Bay and Lelant at 07:35 and presumably the same bird over Upton Towans at 08:00.

Looe Island: 2 Iceland Gull (ad and 1w, adult also previously seen on 11/05/18 by Claire Lewis). (B Taggart)

Marazion: Avocet around Red River mouth. (P St Pierre) Avocet still present this evening on the beach, also 3 Bar-tailed Godwit, 5 Whimbrel, 27 Sanderling, 6 Dunlin and 6 Ringed Plover. (DK Parker)

Bude Marshes: Grasshopper Warbler on territory  but not showing very well, Reed, Sedge, Willow and Chiffchaff, now all nesting, Cuckoo calling near Rods Bridge area this morning but not seen. (N Bastin)

Nanstallon: At 10:30 a Red Kite flew directly over my house. Then there were 2 increasing to 3. 2 flew off towards Bodmin and 1 headed towards Wadebridge. 5 minutes later, one (presumably one if the previous 2) came from the Bodmin direction and headed towards Wadebridge. (D Roberts)
