Pendeen: 1 Wilson’s Petrel flew past fairly close at 0957. (R Veal, S Linacre) 1 Wilson’s Petrel close past at 1205. (P Combridge) Lower slope (0630-1220): 1 Sabine’s Gull, 89 Storm Petrel, 5 Arctic Skua. (P Combridge, I Prentice, A Bayly) Also 1 Arctic Tern. (D Flumm) Lower car park (0800-1300): 9 Balearic Shearwater, Sooty Shearwater, 47 Storm Petrel, 5 Arctic Skua. (R Veal, R Wilkins, P Clement) Also 2 Peregrine swooping in turns to hunt Storm Petrels, with at least one successful attempt.
