Late news, 17/7, Kingsmill Lake: 79 Redshank, 15 Greenshank, 3 Whimbrel and 1 Mediterranean Gull (2cy) in the evening. ( M Beer)

Newquay, Towan Head: A few Gannets fishing with large pod of Common Dolphins, also Manx Shearwaters passing at 30 + per min at 08:20. (M Lammas)

Porthgwarra: 5 Common Scoter, 43 Fulmar, 933 Manx Shearwater, 1 Balearic Shearwater, 2 Storm Petrel, 1 Arctic Skua, 48 Med Gull and 1 Sandwich Tern mostly going west between 07:30 & 09:30. (DK Parker)

Maer Lake: 1 summer plumage Red Knot, 2 Lapwings, 8 Dunlin, 2 Moorhens with juveniles, at least 2 Greenfinches, moderate numbers of Swallows and Sand Martins. (H Kendall, B Bryne)

Colliford Lake: 1 Great White Egret still with 1 Little Egret at the Loveny end, viewed from the cattle grid. (J Rance)

Bude: I couldn’t work out why the peanuts were going down with no small birds in the garden then whilst photographing the linnet family I found out why. It’s nice to have some wildlife in my garden, even if its just a Wood Mouse. (N Bastin)

Stithians Reservoir: 13 Common Sandpiper (flock of 10 roosting on east side, 3 on causeway rocks), 4 Green Sandpiper, 2 Common Snipe, 3 Lapwing, 10 Grey Heron (mostly imms), 2 House Martin, 1 Common Swift from Stuart Hutchings Hide. (D Chaney)

Croft Pascoe: 3 Spotted Flycatcher, 1 Nuthatch, 2 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 2 Coal Tit, 1 juv Willow Warbler, also lots Grayling, also Meadow Brown, Gatekeeper, Large Skipper, Red Admiral and 1 Lizard. (D Chadwick, T Mills)

Porth Reservoir: 2 Common Sandpiper, 4 Grey Heron, 3 Coot, 5 Grey Wagtail, 1 Kingfisher 5 Great Crested Grebe, 3 adult 2 juv, also 2 Common Lizard, Marbled White & Painted Lady, 1 juv Tawny Owl next to fishing permit hut. (S Grose)

Cape Cornwall: Patch record 22 Med Gull during this morning, including 16 juvs. (Previous best count was 9). Also 1 Whimbrel south. (N Wheatley)

Nanjizal: 117 ringed including 3 Grasshopper Warbler, 13 Reed Warbler, 29 Sedge Warbler, 12 Whitethroat, 9 Willow Warbler. (K Wilson)
