Late news, 21/8, Truro: Gull flock (predominantly Herring Gull with some Black-headed Gull), much in excess of 200, probably feeding on flying ants over Rosedale Estate, Truro, for quite while around 17:00. (K & J Mortimore)

Late news, 21/8, Lizard: 11+ Yellow Wagtail at Old Lizard Head, plus Wheatear, 12 Sand Martin & 2 Tree Pipit over. (M Pass)

Bude: Adult female Honey Buzzard flying low SW this morning at 06:15, being mobbed by 15 Herring Gulls and Carrion Crows. (N Bastin)

Croft Pascoe Pool: 1 imm. Glossy Ibis reported still.

Nanjizal: A total of 153 new birds ringed, including 1 Nightingale, 2 Pied Flycatcher, 52 Sedge Warbler, 6 Grasshopper Warbler, 13 Whitethroat, 17 Blackcap, 1 Garden Warbler, 7 Reed Warbler, 17 Willow Warbler, 4 Chiffchaff and 11 Swallow. Please keep to public rights of way. North East Lizard Village: Moulting adult Black Kite circled between 12:50 and 14:15 at least, seemingly confused by lots of ocean! (M Pass)

Pendeen 06:00-09:00: 2 Balearic Shearwater, 3000 Manx Shearwater, 1 Arctic Skua, 1 Storm Petrel, 4 Common Tern, 1 Mediterranean Gull & 2 Whimbrel. (P Flint)

Marazion Beach: 1 juvenile Little Gull, 1 Greenshank, 1 Peregrine over, Sea Daffodils on the dunes. (M Evans) Also 110+ Dunlin, 60+ Sanderling, 40+ Ringed Plover, 6 Turnstone, 2 ad. Mediterranean Gull, at the red river mouth at around 17:00. (R Butts)
