Tresillian to St Clements: 3 Curlew, 8 Little Egret, 2 Mute Swan, 3 Chaffinch, 4 Blue Tit, 4 Shelduck and 1 Osprey sat on fence post on Probus bypass. (B Smith)

St. Gothian Sands LNR: 1 pr Mute Swan plus 5 cygnets, 1 Fulvous Whistling Duck and 1 m Reed Bunting. (J.Baker)

The Brisons off Cape Cornwall: A ringing trip there ringed 42 Shags (two adults), 13 Razorbill (seven adults) and an unexpected 11 Guillemot (eight adults), but significantly they heard 2 singing Storm Petrel, (this remains the only site in the county that Storm Petrel have been presumed to breed). Downderry: 1 Great Northern Diver, 2 Mediterranean Gull and 13 Manx Shearwater all flew west this morning before 0700. (A Payne)

Hayle Estuary RSPB Reserve, Ryan’s Field: 1 1s Spoonbill, 7 Curlew, 1 Whimbrel, 1 Black-headed Gull, 3 Oystercatcher (plus 3+ juveniles), 12 Canada Goose (plus 6 goslings). (R Veal)
