An easy 2-hour birding walk on good, level paths (mostly wheelchair accessible), beside the Truro River mudflats at outgoing tide. Close to Truro; bus 496 towards Malpas leaves Haven House near Bus Station 10.19 arriving 10.23 at ‘Trennick Mill’ (ask driver to stop). Meet 10.45 in Boscawen Park beside Café in the Park.

Bring binoculars, scope if wished, sturdy shoes particularly if wet.
