St Ives Island, 07.00-18.00: 1 Adult Long-tailed Skua west at 16:02 plus possible dark juv at 16:45, 4 Sabine’s Gull – all single birds – 2 ad & 2 juv. Juvenile at 17:19 landed and fed on seaweed clump until end of day, 8 Grey Phalarope – 4 together at midday and 2 landed on sea 400 metres offshore, 100+ Cory’s Shearwaters – majority came through after 2pm, 1 Great Shearwater , 6 Sooty Shearwater, 5 Balearic Shearwater, 150k+ Manx Shearwater, 60+ European Storm Petrel, 2 Black Tern, 61 Arctic Tern, 19 Common Tern, 34 Sandwich Tern, 66 Commic Tern, 9 Arctic Skua – 6 pale, 3 dark, Common Scoter – 2 single males west, 8 Godwit sp., 6 Knot.
