Helston Boating Lake: male Lesser Scaup (male and female present yesterday), 1 Common Sandpiper, 4 Shoveler (2 pairs; males in vigorous dispute), 18 Tufted Duck, 41 Coot, 11 Moorhen, 2 Mute Swan, 8 Mallard, 24 Canada Goose, 140 Herring Gulls, 70 Black-headed Gull, 1 Muscovy Duck. Boscathnoe Reservoir: 1 Dusky Warbler. (J St Ledger, A Lea, G Fisher, et al). Also 3 Chiffchaff, 9 Goosander (3 male, 6 female), 2 Moorhen. (J St Ledger, A Lea). Also 2 Chiffchaff, 8 Goosander. St Minver: 1 Sparrowhawk, 3 Blackcap, 1000+ Starling, 1 Raven over. (S Grose)

Hannafore: 1m Eider, 2 Stonechat (m & f), 5 Oystercatcher, 6 Turnstone, 1 Pied Wagtail, 3 Little Egret. Also 4 Mute Swan (2 adult, 2 juvenile), numerous Lesser and Greater Black-backed Gull and Herring Gull on the Looe River. (C&J Duffy)
