Dobwalls, private garden: 2 Greenfinch (1 adult, 1 juv), 3 juv Blue Tit, 4 juv House Sparrrow, Painted Lady, Meadow Brown (C&J Duffy)

Hayle Estuary: Adult Arctic Tern, Common Tern & 2 Sandwich Terns; 47 Black-headed Gulls including 2 juvs, 8 Mediterranean Gulls (6xad:2x2cy) (J Hawkey)

Pendeen Watch – Sea watching from lighthouse 7:30-10:45am: 1 Sooty Shearwater, 1 Balearic Shearwater, 2 Puffins, Approx 2500 Manx Shearwaters, 6 Fulmar, 1 Grey Heron flew in off the sea, Also Razorbills, Common Guillemots, Kittiwakes and expected Gull species (T Wilson – visiting from Sydney, Australia)

Ruan Lanihorne: 1 Hobby hunting 2145 – 2205 over marsh, 1 m Reed Bunting, 1 Buzzard, 1 m Stonechat, 1 Fallow Deer, 1 Badger, several bats 2 different species (J & R Brown)

 

Late submission 21/06/26 – Porthgwarra: 1 Quail flushed from track 300m west of stone wall, unable to relocate (M Bishop)

Late submission 21/06/26 – Nanquidno: Pod of 6-7 Risso’s Dolphins in morning (T&N Wheatley)

Late submission 21/06/26 – Porth Chapel: 2 Risso’s Dolphins heading west at 4pm (M Elliott)

Late submission 21/06/26 – Falmouth Offshore: 1 Great Skua, 1 Puffin, 50+ Guillemot (one with just-fledged “jumpling”), 3 Common Tern, 15 Storm Petrel, 10+ Fulmar, 3,000+ Manx Shearwater (in groups of 20-500 birds, feeding and loafing), 2 Sand Martin (heading ENE over sea, 18km offshore) with AK Wildlife Cruises.
