Gunwalloe: 1 Steppe Grey Shrike still throughout the day. Also, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 male Kestrel. (S Ford, A Lea et al) In addition, 10 Whimbrel headed South. (A Early)

St Ives Island: (07:00 to 16:30) 2 Cory’s Shearwater (07:30 & 08:20), 13 Leach’s Petrel, 8 Grey Phalarope, 3 European Storm Petrel, 8 Sooty Shearwater, 3 1w Little Gull, 2 Pomarine Skua, 1 Little Auk, 4 Great Skua, 3 Arctic Skua, 1 Arctic Tern, 1 Sandwich Tern, 2 Puffin, 6 Great Northern Diver, 7 Fulmar and 1 Snow Bunting, heard over at 9am later present around NCI ‘gully’ and eastern rocks. Also, 1 Loggerhead Turtle was off The Island for 10 minutes around midday. It seemed to drift in towards the harbour area with the incoming tide. (A Lobb, A Holmes)

Drift Reservoir: 1 Slavonian Grebe, 7 Little Grebe, 1f Tufted Duck, 4 (2m 2f) Mallard, 90+ Canada Goose, 1 Cormorant, 50+ mixed Gull flock, 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 Little Egret, 1 Grey Heron, 2 m&f Chaffinch 09.45 – 11.40. (M Webb)
