Bird talk on Friday 8th August at 7.30 at Bridgerule Church, given by Published Ornithologist Dr Paul Fitzpatrick, about the Birdlife that can be found in the Churchyard.

Dr Fitzpatrick will be presenting the finds of his recent Bird survey at the Church. He has a special interest in the Birdlife of Churchyards, and here at St Bridgets we have an unusually rich diversity due to a combination of geography (high on a hill, but near fast running water), Agriculture (the surrounding fields and farms are rich in biodiversity), and history (St Bridget’s has been an undisturbed sacred site for over 1000 years). The talk is free, as it’s part of our Tower Restoration project funded by the Heritage Fund and National Churches Trust.

Bridgerule is on the Devon/Cornwall Border between Bude & Holsworthy.
