Lizard Point: 2000 approximately Manx Shearwaters feeding and rafting with 10/20 Storm Petrels feeding + 1 Wilson’s Petrel amongst them, many hundreds of Kittiwakes all flying towards Falmouth Bay. (R Wilkins)

Late submission, 18/8, Hayle – Copperhouse Creek: Flock of 300 plus small waders, majority of them Ringed Plover but including lots of Dunlin and a few part summer-plumaged Sanderling. Also, 4 Redshank, Grey Heron and Sparrowhawk over. Hundreds of mixed gulls plus 30 Canada Goose. (M Lammas)
