Millbrook Lake: 1 moulting ad Semipalmated Sandpiper at high tide roost with Redshank then flew to mudflats. (P Kemp)

Siblyback Lake: 1 Baird’s Sandpiper in muddy inlet and 1 Pectoral Sandpiper on muddy area to west. (P Kemp).  Also, 9 Glossy Ibis dropped in at 11.20 also 1 Pectoral Sandpiper, 3 Curlew Sandpiper, 2 Greenshank and 4 Ruff. (K Pellow)

Padstow, Tregirls Beach car park field: 1 Glossy Ibis flew overhead towards beach at 07.30. (T Nightingale)

Marazion Marsh: 1 Glossy Ibis, 10 Cattle Egret in the evening. Also, 1 Little Stint on the beach. (P St Pierre)

Drift Reservoir: 1 Black Kite over at 11.35. (RBA)

Lizard Point: est 53,000 Great Shearwater (estimated based on multiple short counts), 1 Wilson’s Petrel, 1 Leach’s Petrel and 1 Sabines Gull. (T Blunden, R Wilkins).

Pendeen (07.00 – 11,00): 2 ad Sabine’s Gull, 1 juv Little Gull, 6 Balearic Shearwater, 65 Sandwich Tern, 53 Arctic Tern, 3 Common Tern, 7 Dunlin, 20 Sanderling, 10 Whimbrel. (P Combridge)

Porthgwarra – totals to 16:35pm: 1 Sabine’s Gull, 2 Leach’s Petrel, 1 Wilson’s Petrel, 52 European Storm Petrel, 2 Great Skua, 15 Cory’s Shearwater, 1875 Great Shearwater (many uncounted 4+ miles out), 2,000 Manx Shearwater, 8 Sooty Shearwater, 1 Balearic Shearwater, 42 Sandwich Tern, 4 Arctic Tern, 1 Little Gull, 1 Arctic Skua. Camel Estuary (Tregunna 0830-1000): 1 Glossy Ibis flew up river, 6+ Curlew Sandpiper, 14 Bar-tailed Godwit, 2 Knot, 1 Sanderling, 6 Greenshank, 2 Common Sandpiper, 1 Green Sandpiper. (G Stephenson)

Fal Estuary (from boat with AK Wildlife): 1 Red Throated Diver, 1 Osprey, 3 Kingfisher, 2 Sandwich Tern, 12 European Shag, 10 Cormorant, 8 Grey Heron, 12 Oystercatcher, 1 Greenshank, 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 Stock Dove, 2 Common Buzzard, 12 Curlew, 1 Whimbrel, 5 Great Black-backed Gull, 10 Black-headed Gull. Porth Reservoir: 8 Mistle Thrush, 2 Chiffchaff, 1 Willow Warbler, 3 Coal Tit, 20 Long-tailed Tit, 1 Kestrel, 1 ad Great Crested Grebe, 9 Cormorant, 1 Little Egret, 1 Grey Heron, 6 Grey Wagtail, 2 Sand Martin amongst 40 Swallow. (S Grose)

Hayle Estuary (late afternoon): movement of terns SW, approx. 14 Black Tern, 7 Little Tern, 90 Sandwich Tern, 120 Arctic Tern, 1 Common Tern. (B Dallas)

Hayle, Copperhouse Creek: 1 Curlew (ring – Y-FH) still faithful to area of Commercial Road car park. Also 5 Common Sandpiper, 140 Mediterranean Gull.  Also, Ryan’s Field, 5 Bar-tailed Godwit, 8 Black-tailed Godwit. (B Dawson)

Hayle Ryan’s Field: 1 3rd winter Spoonbill Danish-ringed V463, 6 Little Egret, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Greenshank, 20+ Redshank, 2 Black-tailed Godwit, 1 Bar-tailed Godwit, 2 Curlew, 20+ Black-headed Gull 07.40 – 07.55. (M Webb).  Also, c25 Sandwich Tern, shortly before sunset. (T Culmer)

Crantock: 5 Chough feeding on land adjacent to the Beachcomber Cafe at approximately 9.20am. (I Bott)

Cot Valley – Bosorne: 1 or 2 Firecrest in roadside shrubs near “The Canyack”. 1 adult and a possible juvenile. (R Butterfield)

Late submission, 8/9, Marazion Marsh: 1 Glossy Ibis arrived at scrape at east end at 7:15am, Whinchat, Kingfisher. (SM Cox).
